The Short Answer

Luxury yacht catering on a Maia Fair Marbella charter is coordinated by the crew through established Marbella catering partners and ranges from grazing platters at €45 per guest to full multi course Spanish menus from €120 per guest. Champagne packages, fresh seafood, themed cuisine, vegan and dietary specific menus are all available with advance notice. The yacht's flybridge dining area seats up to 12 for a full sit down meal.

How yacht catering is coordinated

Maia Fair's crew works with several established Marbella catering partners who specialise in yacht service. Once your charter date and group are confirmed, the crew sends a menu selection sheet covering style preferences (canapes, grazing, plated), Spanish or international cuisine, dietary requirements and budget level. Final menu confirmation is required 48 hours before charter for sourcing and preparation. Catering is delivered to the boat 1 to 2 hours before departure.

Menu styles

Three core menu styles cover most charters: grazing platters featuring Iberian charcuterie, Spanish cheeses, fresh fruit and Mediterranean salads (€45 to €70 per guest); plated lunch with starter, main and dessert featuring local seafood or grilled meats (€80 to €120 per guest); and full multi course chef service with a chef onboard for the day (€150 to €250 per guest). Each style scales to the group and the occasion.

Spanish cuisine focus

Spanish ingredients dominate the catering options. Pata negra Iberian ham, manchego cheese, fresh seafood from Malaga and Cadiz, Andalusian gazpacho and salmorejo, paella prepared onboard, grilled prawns and octopus, and Spanish desserts like crema catalana and torta de Santiago. The crew can also arrange international or themed cuisine on request including Italian, French, Asian fusion and vegetarian or vegan menus.

Champagne and wine

Champagne packages include Moet et Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Dom Perignon and Krug, with prices from €60 per bottle to €350+ for premium options. Spanish cava is available at lower price points for less formal celebrations. Wine selections feature Spanish whites (Albariño, Verdejo, Rueda) and reds (Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Toro) plus international options. Cocktail packages with a dedicated bartender are available for larger groups.

Beach club dining as an alternative

For groups wanting to combine catering with shore time, the crew arranges tender drops at established Marbella beach clubs including Trocadero Arena, Nikki Beach, Puente Romano Sea Grill, Estrella del Mar and El Oceano. Lunch ashore typically runs €80 to €180 per guest at these venues plus drinks. Reservations are arranged in advance by the crew.

Special dietary requirements

All major dietary requirements are accommodated with advance notice including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, nut free, kosher, halal, pescatarian and specific food allergies. The crew confirms requirements at booking and again 48 hours before charter.
